Care

To keep your jewellery looking clean, take care not to expose it to perfume, hairspray or harsh chemicals.

Silver Jewellery

Sterling silver will naturally oxidise over time and with regular use. To clean your silver jewellery, place in an aluminium foil lined bowl and cover with a tablespoon of bi-carb, pour boiling water till the piece is covered. Leave for a few minutes and then wash carefully under cold water, using a soft toothbrush to clean any finer details.

Oxidised Jewellery

Oxidised silver is a surface treatment and will fade with wear, eventually revealing the bright silver beneath. To preserve the blackened appearance avoid using silver cleaning agents and cloths.

Gold Plated Jewellery

Gold plating is a surface treatment and will fade with wear, eventually revealing the bright silver below. To clean your plated jewellery you can wash it carefully in warm soapy water, using a soft cloth to dry thoroughly.

Maintenance
Wear and tear is a natural occurrence for all pieces of jewellery. Surface treatments such as matte finished, oxidised surfaces, gold plating, paint or polishing will all naturally wear overtime. Finishes can usually be reapplied to give a similar look to when they were new.
